BIRTH

Pa JOSHUA ADIGUN IYANDA was Born on the 27TH of SEPTEMBER 1951 into the family of late pa Deacon SAMUEL A. IYANDA who was married to MAMA late OMOYOOLA IYANDA OF ILE IKOLABA ALADAN ISALE LAKA OGBOMOSO OYO STATE.

BAPTISM

He accepted Jesus as his Lord and personal Saviour and was baptized in First Baptist Church Abuja (Now Suleja) by REVD LEVERET in the year 1973.

EDUCATION

He attended Baptist Day School Bidah from 1958 –TO -1963 and completed primary 7 at BAPTIST DAY SCHOOL KATCHA in Niger State in the year 1964. He then proceeded to VERHOEVEN TECHNICAL SCHOOL MINNA in Niger State. He also went to EDUCATION ADVANCE COLLEGE OF STENOGRAPHY (E.A.C.S) OKE- ‘YA – IGBAJA in kwara State where he learnt about INSURANCE BUSINESS. When insurance profession was no longer moving as expected, he decided to go back to School for additional qualifications in order to become a teacher.

2.      Children Evangelism Ministry Basic Course on Child Evag.        1990 - 1991

3.      Ayu Theological Seminary an Affiliate of Ahmadu Bello                                                            University Zaria where he obtained Diploma in                                                                                        Christian Religious Education.                                                     2000– 2004

WORKING EXPERIENCE
Having trained as an insurance CANVERCER from the ADVANCE COLLAGE OF STENOGRAPHY going from one office area to another for Business in Ibadan Town, He became a RESIDENT INSPECTOR (Having a Permanent Office) Coming to Abuja (NOW SULEJA) in the year 1970 He was a strong member of the choristers of First Baptist Church Abuja. By 1973 He was already transferred to Keffi by the Insurance Company He was working with. When the insurance business was now not moving any longer, he decided to enroll in school and obtained additional educational qualifications with which he was employed as a CLASS RELIGIOUS INSTRUCTOR in the year 1985 teaching in Angwan Gwadara Primary School Karshi Local Government.                                                                    For a change of environment in the year 2018, he was transferred to Pilot Primary School Uke –Karsh Development Area where he rose to the rank of Assistant Chief Education Officer (A.C.E.O) 
before his demise.

MARRIAGE LIFE

Baba got married to his beloved wife mama ESTHER MORAWO IYANDA (LATE) and the marriage was blessed with five (5) Children to the glory of God. Meanwhile after the demise of Mama ESTHER MORAWO IYANDA, baba considered re-marrying MRS TOYIN RACHEAL IYANDA before His demise.

CHURCH RESPONSIBILITIES

prior his coming, having been a strong member of the Choristers of First Baptist Church Abuja (Now Suleja) with the letter of recommendation given to him by the then Rev’d First Baptist Church Abuja (Now Suleja), he became a strong member of the Church and Choir at First Baptist Church Keffi also.

He Served as a strong pioneer of children Choir that became Solomon Choir F.B.C.K. was even nicknamed baba Samba mi (baba Stand by Me)
