The immediate past governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Adoza Bello, will be arraigned today at the Federal High Court in Abuja on alleged N82 billion fraud charges. Bello is expected to be put on trial by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on behalf of the federal government. DAILY POST noted that the arraignment is number 7 on the cause list of Justice Emeka Nwite. However, it could not be ascertained if the former governor would honor his promise to make himself available for arraignment. The Nigeria Air Force (NAF) has said that it will acquire a minimum of fifty new aircraft by the end of the current year in order to bolster the effort against banditry in the North-West and throughout Nigeria. Additionally, this year symbolizes the 25 years of continuous democratic government in our country.   2. During the fateful six years that followed, we fought and struggled for our natural rights as human beings put on this earth by the divine hand of our Creator. We lost great heroes and heroines along the way.
