Under President Bola Tinubu's leadership, the discussion over the new minimum wage has taken a new turn. This is in response to organized labor's demand that President Tinubu pay workers N615,000 while rejecting the FG's 25% salary increase. On Wednesday, May 1, NLC President Joe Ajaero told reporters of this stance and reiterated that their demand is still in place.
