 A Nigerian priest claims that if you catch your wife cheating and you forgive her, she will no longer have respect for you.

Prophet Ritabbi, a Nigerian pastor, has advised against men pardoning their adulterous spouses. 

While lecturing in his church, the clergyman made a statement in a video that has since gone viral about a man who caught his wife cheating on him with another man and asked for advice. In response, the cleric stated: 

You can do anything you want to do; I'm not a hypocrite. Tell her to "stop moving with men," when you get there.

 Your actions are shattering my heart. Kindly refrain from You know I adore you, so you  want to do it again. You are aware of your beauty. Don't do that again, please. I am being hurt by you.
 Remind her of that and stick with her. You hear me claim that God died? 

You are unaware that the Bible permits divorce? With the exception of adultery, Jesus said. Jesus permitted divorce. A lady is dead in your eyes the moment you catch her in the act. 

If a man claims that his body will stop working after he has discovered his wife, he is lying, unless he doesn't truly love her. You have a crush on her. 

Your spouse will respect you even if you discover that she is cheating on you; nevertheless, if you catch her and and keep her then respect is gone.
