Grammy Award-winning Nigerian singer Burna Boy, also known as Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, has made fun of fellow musician Davido in the midst of his current custody dispute lawsuit against his first baby mom, Sophia Momodu.
The argument started when a social media user mentioned Davido's recent marriage to Chioma, his longtime girlfriend, and his custody battle with Sophia in an attempt to get Burna Boy to think about getting married. Burna Boy responded to this by making a number of scathing remarks.
According to LEADERSHIP, Davido and Chioma recently were married in a grandiose wedding in Lagos. But a few days later, Davido and Sophia Momodu got into a public argument, and she brought up the sad passing of Ifeanyi, Davido's son, in her countersuit.
Davido posted a statement on social media expressing his pain, stating, "You're always bringing up my child's death to remind us of this catastrophe that haunts us every day of our life. I hope my kids will realize that I stood up for her. Right now, you can have her. P.S. She will grow up eventually. Have fun I created Adeleke Aurora! Your dad adores you.
After this tearful outburst, fellow musician Dammy Krane claimed that Davido was complicit in his late friend Tagbo's demise. "I'm boldly saying @davido has hand in Tagbo's death," declared Dammy Krane. They should sue me and take everything to court if I'm lying. I'm ready to assist I've strewn all of his soiled linen for everyone to see.
Then Burna Boy stepped in and asked Dammy Krane to take down his posts on Davido. The tweet read, "'Odogwu too wise' who no hear go feel," in a mysterious manner.
When @BadLieutenant, another user, recommended that Burna Boy take Davido's lead and get a job, the discussion became more heated. "Burna Boy, you ought to start making plans for the future by tying the knot and beginning a family. OBO has already led by example. The user said, "You need to realize that you're not growing any younger—you're over 33 now.
"Baba make me just dey as I dey abeg, u nor see wetin him dey face like dis?" Burna Boy shot back.
Another person continued the conversation by criticizing Burna Boy's answer. "You're not even able to Provide a reasonable response to a question. Haha. Simply a large skull and plenty of beards," they stated. Burna Boy shot back, "Okay. But Shey, isn't that a better example the person used between us?
Burna Boy said, "Ehen!" in response to a question about whether he thought Adekunle Gold was a better role model. He expressed his respect for the bond between Adekunle Gold and his singer wife, Simi, saying, "Na wetin we dey pray for be that bros."
