Olanrewaju Kayode, a Super Eagles player, has brought his wife Ezinne Dora before an Abuja High Court in an attempt to dissolve their marriage, claiming that there has been an irreversible collapse.
In addition, Kayode is suing Tobi Adegboyega, the founder of Salvation Proclaimers Anointed Church (SPAC Nation), for N1 billion in damages for emotional distress, lost income, and strained relations brought on by an alleged extramarital affair with Ezinne.
The plea, which is contained in a cross-petition dated July 1, comes after Kayode and Ezinne, who have been married since 2013, went public with charges of infidelity, fraud, and domestic abuse.
Kayode further stated that Ezinne had disregarded their children's schooling and mental health by having romantic and sexual conversations with them while using the rental income from these houses for her connection with Adegboyega.
The Super Eagles footballer has also asked for custody of their kids, saying that Ezinne's supposed behavior makes her unfit.
The matter will now be heard again on September 24, 2024, according to the court's adjournment.

She and her mother became the target of allegations of adultery and witchcraft, and an attempt was made to have her removed from their married residence.
She requested custody of their three children as well as the dissolution of their marriage.
Kayode claimed in his cross-petition that Ezinne had several extramarital encounters during their marriage, designating Adegboyega as a co-defendant and respondent, respectively.
He said that in order to obtain ownership of the property records related to his business endeavors, Ezinne colluded with Ugochukwu Igboanugo, an ex-lover of Zloc Constructions Limited.
"The court document states that the Cross Petitioner personally paid for several choice properties and gave the realtor instructions to prepare the transfer documents in the name of the Company DE-J-S Concept Limited."
"The Respondent has collaborated with the aforementioned Ugochukwu Igboanugo without the Cross Petitioner's knowledge and obtained all the property records and has been obtaining the rent money from the properties on her own, spending it on her romantic connection with the Co-Respondent to the Cross Petition.
