Following his arraignment on a six-count charge by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), he was sentenced.The Central Bank of Nigeria's Naira currency was allegedly tampered with by Bobrisky on March 24, 2024, when he sprayed N400,000 at the imax Circle Mall in Jakande, Lekki, according to the court.
Additionally, it stated that Bobrisky stole N50, 000.00 (fifty thousand naira) between July and August of 2023 while dancing at a social gathering at Aja Junction, Ikorodu.
Similarly, in December 2023, Bobrisky, while dancing at a social gathering at White Steve Event Hall in Ikeja, tampered with the amount of N20,000.00 (twenty thousand Naira).
Additionally, the court determined that the dress-crosser altered the amount of N20,000.00 (Twenty Thousand Naira) by sprinkling while dancing during an event held in the Event Hall, Oniru, Victory Island, sometimes in 2022.
Bobrisky's actions were deemed by the court to be in violation of section 21(1) of the Central Bank Act, 2007 and to be penalized accordingly.
Nevertheless, two of the accusations were ultimately withdrawn, and he entered a guilty plea to naira abuse while pleading for forgiveness as a first-time offender.
