Obaseki raises Edo's minimum wage to N70,000 in a breaking move.


The minimum pay for employees in Edo State has been raised by Governor Godwin Obaseki from N40,000 to N70,000.

The declaration was made by the governor on Monday during the opening of the state's brand-new, state-of-the-art Labour House secretariat building for labor unions.

The structure is situated in Benin City, the state capital, along Temboga Road in Ikpoba-Hill.
