The administration has inked contracts with a number of businesspeople who want to put money into mechanized agricultural in the state.
In an interview with reporters in Umuahia, the state capital, Otti stated that the investors were getting ready to enter the sectors of the business of their choice.
According to him, the government wants to give agriculture top priority since it can spur economic growth, create wealth, and provide both direct and indirect employment possibilities.
The governor went on to say that the government will take back the abandoned farm towns and concessioned palm plantations that are dispersed around the state in order to achieve the goal.
He claims that given the difficulties the roughly 15-month-old administration since taking office, and it is working hard to increase both its base and capability for revenue generation.
"Although the state of our accounts was really bad, we will keep working on our maturing liabilities.We haven't needed to borrow a penny to operate thus far," he said.
Speaking generally about the government, the governor clarified that as it was chosen by the people, it has no godfather and is therefore committed to carrying out its mission in order to uphold the will of the people.
